KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Nine Knoxville-area businesses were given awards Thursday as part of the 2024 Pinnacle Business Awards. The Knoxville Chamber announced the nine winners — businesses that work in a wide array of industries.

- Small Business Excellence – Boldsquare
- Boldsquare makes custom strategic plans meant to help improve organizations and helps businesses meet their goals.
- Mid-Sized Business Excellence – WorkSpace Interiors
- Workspace Interiors helps furnish businesses, schools and health care companies.
- Large Business Excellence – East Tennessee Children’s Hospital
- The East Tennessee Children's Hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services across the region.
- Woman-Owned Business Excellence – Mesa Associates, Inc.
- This management firm is full-service and spans disciplines in engineering, procurement and construction. It specializes in engineering and design services.
- Minority-Owned Business Excellence – Avèro Advisors
- Avèro Advisors aims to improve the relationship between communities and government agencies, partly by improving government agencies' technology.
- Impact Award – Axle Logistics
- Axle Logistics is a third-party logistics company that works with a wide variety of customers throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
- Innovator Award – Spyre Sports Group
- Spyre Sports Group helps facilitate name, image and likeness deals for student-athletes, working with different brands.
- Young Entrepreneur Award – Ian Dovan, Seeds of Change
- Dovan founded Seeds of Change, which partners with local nonprofits and provides landscaping services in Knoxville.
- James A. Haslam, II Leadership Award – Joe Landsman, The University of Tennessee Medical Center
