Two men were arrested Friday night for driving erratically in the parking lot of the Blount County Justice Center, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
Blount County deputies were driving in the parking lot of the justice center when they saw a green Jeep driving up and down the curb and in grass the separates two parking lots. Deputies said 24-year-old Theodore James Tucker was in the parking lot, taking photos and videos of the car.
When deputies went up to the two men, they asked to search the vehicle. 26-year-old Eric Thomas Johnson gave deputies permission. After the search, deputies found three bags of crystal meth and hypodermic needles in the car.
Johnson and Tucker are now both in jail, according to deputies. Johnson is charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $16,000 bond.
Tucker is charged with identity theft and had three warrants for failure to appear in court. He's being held with bonds totaling $4,250.
The vehicle was towed after deputies saw the vehicle had an open title and could not determine ownership, according to BCSO.
