PERRY COUNTY, Ky. - Fourteen students and the driver were hurt when a school bus crashed in Perry County Monday morning.
It happened 11000 block of Highway 28 as the bus headed to the Perry County Vocational School. Officials tell us the driver swerved to avoid a deer and the bus ran off the road.
The driver and all 14 students on board were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Rescue workers say 10 students had minor injuries, two had moderate injuries and two others have already gone home with their parents.
