LEXINGTON, Ky. — Knox County's mayor was feeling a little blue on Wednesday.

Mayor Glenn Jacobs, who is also WWE superstar Kane, was in Lexington paying off a little bet.

He and Lexington mayor Linda Gorton made a little wager before the highly-anticipated men's basketball game in Rupp Arena a couple of week's ago.

The winning mayor agreed to host the losing mayor in their town, but the losing mayor had to wear the opposing team's jersey, So Jacobs found himself in a blue UK t-shirt after the Wildcats defeated the Vols, size XXXL for the pro-wrestler.

The two made the most of their meeting, Jacobs said in a post on his Facebook page, discussing how similar the cities were and the common issues both are facing.

They also made another bet, because the Cats are traveling down I-75 this weekend for a rematch at Thompson Boling Arena.

This time--- both mayors agreed to make a donation to children's hospital in the winning team's city, so if the Vols win, the money would go to East Tennessee Children's Hospital. If Kentucky wins, the donations would go to the UK Kentucky Children's Hospital.

Jacobs encouraged everyone to do the same.

"It's an opportunity for all of us to come together and do a good thing," he said.

The Vols and Wildcats will tip of Saturday at 2 p.m. The game is sold out, but will be televised on ESPN.
