Redbud, dogwood, boxelder... Zoo Knoxville's animals want to munch on your freshly cut trees!

The tree drive has returned! You can donate freshly cut trees to Zoo Knoxville from 8 to 5 p.m. -- just be sure to call them first at (865) 637-5331.

Put down the peanuts and pick up a saw -- because if you want to feed Zoo Knoxville's animals -- they are hungry for only the freshest and tallest greens!

Zoo Knoxville is asking for help from folks who'd like to donate freshly cut trees that haven't been treated with pesticides to feed the animals.

If you can help, they are asking people to call them first at (865) 637-5331They can take deliveries between 8 to 5 p.m.

  • Bradford pear
  • Dogwood
  • Hackberry
  • Sugar maple
  • Silver maple
  • Elm
  • Mulberry
  • Chestnut oak
  • Red oak
  • Hickory
  • Eastern redbud
  • River birch
  • Hemlock tree
  • Boxelder
  • Mimosa
  • Honey suckle (NOT in berry)
