University of Tennessee offers 50% refund for parking passes

Students who graduated, are studying abroad, have internships or are leaving UT can return their parking permits for a 50% refund of the original price.
University leaders said they are planning for additional structured parking and lots on campus.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee is offering parking pass refunds to certain students, the school announced Thursday. 

Students who graduated, are studying abroad, have internships or leaving UT can return their parking permits for a 50% refund of the original price. 

At the start of the school year, student parking pass prices ranged from $84 to $390. 

Students can return the hangtag to 2121 Stephenson Drive. The refund will be processed in three to four weeks and the deadline is Jan. 31, 2025.
