Three Monroe County schools moving to remote learning ahead of Thanksgiving break

Sweetwater High School, Sequoyah High School and Madisonville Primary will do remote learning on Monday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 24.

MONROE COUNTY, Tenn. — According to Monroe County Schools, Sweetwater High School, Sequoyah High School and Madisonville Primary School will move to remote learning on Monday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 24.

The district said the move was due to COVID-19 concerns.

Officials said they plan on returning to in-person classes after Thanksgiving break.
