LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. — Loudon County leaders are offering free school supplies to students, according to the school system in a social media post.
Schools are now accepting backpack and supply requests. Families just need to text (865) 740-1363 or call (865) 986-2036 to request school supplies, the school system said.
According to the school system, students who are enrolled in Loudon County Schools and who need supplies and a backpack can request the supplies. Parents of students in need are also invited to enter a request.
The Family Resource Center will fill school supplies and backpack requests in the order that they are given, with the supplies being delivered to the school's front office, the school system said.
Supplies will be delivered to the schools by Aug. 5, the post said.
