KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Some students in two East Tennessee school systems won't need to go to class on Jan. 5.
Knoxville Catholic High School students will not have class on Friday after school leaders found a water leak in the "B" building. According to a post on social media, the building was not expected to have water on Friday, so class was canceled.
The high school also said although class was canceled, after-school co-curricular activities would continue as planned.
Grainger County Schools also said schools would be closed on Jan. 5 after "significant" water line problems at one of the county's schools.
