UNION COUNTY, Tennessee — Two students from Union County High School were arrested Thursday after assaulting a school resource officer.
According to Greg Clay, the Director of Schools for Union County Schools, the school was dealing with "an unruly student." He also said the officer was not seriously injured and only received a few scratches from the incident.

"On September 19, 2024 at approximately 7:45 am, Union County High School had an incident in which two juveniles assaulted a SRO and school administrator. Both juveniles were arrested and immediately removed from the school by law enforcement."
