KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Two students were arrested for threats of mass destruction, according to a Facebook post from the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
One student at Powell High School and one at Gibbs Middle School were arrested and transported to the Richard L. Bean Juvenile Detention Center, KCSO said.
A total of five students were arrested in one week for making school threats. Three students were arrested Wednesday for threats to Halls Middle School and Powell High School.
