FENTRESS COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said a man who used to work as a Fentress County corrections officer is facing charges after he illegally photographed women inmates.
The TBI said Coltan Daniel Jones, 24, turned himself in on Wednesday. In July 2023, TBI said agents started investigating allegations of misconduct and found that while working at the Fentress County Jail, he illegally took photos of women there.
He was indicted by the Fentress County Grand Jury last week with four counts of official misconduct and four counts of unlawful photography. He was booked into the Fentress County Jail on a $10,000 bond, according to a release from the TBI.
