ROANE COUNTY, Tenn — A Georgia woman is facing charges of prostitution after a massage business received complaints of illegal activity, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
The complaints stemmed from 7 Massage in Harriman. An investigation was then led by the Rockwood Police Department, the TBI Human Trafficking Unit and the office of the 9th Judicial District Attorney General.
During the investigation, authorities executed a search warrant on Feb. 12. There, they arrested a woman working at 7 Massage, 79-year-old Sook Campbell, and took her into custody.
A second woman who worked there accepted services from a counter-trafficking program, Grow Free Tennessee, the Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking, TBI said.
Campbell was charged with three counts of patronizing prostitution and was booked in the Roane County Jail.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
