ROCKWOOD, Tenn. — A detective with the Rockwood Police Department faces federal indictment following multiple child pornography charges.
According to a release from RPD, an alleged incident occurred between Charles Crothers and a minor from June 26, 2024 through June 28, 2024.
Crothers now faces one felony count of attempted enticement of a child and two felony counts of attempted production of child pornography, the release said.
According to RPD, Crothers was suspended by the police department on Sept. 5. He is currently being held in Laurel County Kentucky Jail without bond and is set for trial on November 12, 2024.
