KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Update (5/2): The Knoxville Police Department identified the victim of a deadly shooting in East Knoxville that happened Tuesday.
According to KPD, 24-year-old Zackery Schwaller from Knoxville died after being shot at least one time in the Morningside area of Knoxville on Prospect Place.
KPD said no suspects have been identified or charged yet. Detectives are working to gather evidence.

One person is dead following a shooting in East Knoxville late Tuesday night, according to the Knoxville Police Department.
At around 11:40 p.m., KPD officers responded to a report of a shooting with a victim in the 1800 block of Prospect Place in the Morningside area.
After arriving on the scene, police found a man lying on the ground who had been shot at least one time, KPD said. The victim was taken from the scene to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
KPD does not have a description of the suspect at this time.
