Authorities searching for man accused of damaging cars in Market Square Garage early Sunday morning

The East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers said at around 2:49 a.m. on Oct. 15, the man damaged several cars in the garage.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers said authorities were searching for a man accused of damaging and vandalizing several cars parked inside of Market Square Garage early Sunday morning.

According to a release, the man was filmed by security cameras jumping on several cars. In the footage, he is seen leaving dents on the hood of one of the cars. ETVCS said the vandalism happened at around 2:49 a.m. on Oct. 15.

Anyone with information about the suspect can reach out to ETVCS by calling 865-215-7165, or through their website. According to the Crime Stoppers group, tips that lead to an arrest may be eligible for a reward and tipsters can stay anonymous.
