MCSO: Man wanted in Knox and Blount counties arrested in Morgan County

Colby Trail was wanted in Knox County on a domestic assault charge from early October, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

MORGAN COUNTY, Tenn. — A 27-year-old man wanted in Knox County and Blount County was arrested Tuesday, according to the Morgan County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office said Colby Joseph Trail was apprehended in the parking lot of a gas station off Morgan County Highway, in the Mossy Grove area. Deputies said they found heroin and methamphetamine on him, as well as suboxone. He was booked into the Morgan County Jail on drug-related charges, according to MCSO.

In Knox County, a warrant for domestic assault was issued following an incident in early October when he was accused of pushing a person after they took his phone, causing them to fall over and injuring them, according to court records.

Trail will remain in the Morgan County Jail awaiting arraignment, according to MCSO.
