A Cleveland man admitted he killed a man during a drunken incident at a Scott County campground.

Billy J. Carson pleaded guilty Monday to vehicular homicide in connection with Tony Farrell's death.

In May 2015, Carson was a vendor at the Full Throttle event at the Trails End campground. Investigators said he'd been drinking and was angry when he got into his SUV after a Trace Adkins concert and drove into a crowd of people.

Farrell was killed during the melee, and his son Ethan was injured. Farrell's wife and other son witnessed the incident.

Carson faces six years for the homicide count and more time for pleading to aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

Sentencing is set for April.
