KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A man was arrested after carrying a firearm on University of Tennessee property on Saturday, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
KCSO responded to Neyland Stadium at 11:26 a.m. to assist officers with Jeffrey Lansdown. They said Lansdown was carrying a firearm in his waistband while on Phillip Fulmer Way.
Officials confiscated his gun, a 12-round magazine, 12 rounds of ammunition and a holster.
Officials issued a warning for Lansdown from all UT-owned property. He said he understood he would be subject to arrest if found on UT property.
Lansdown was taken into custody at the Knox County Detention Facility. He is scheduled to be in court on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 8:30 a.m.
