LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Update (10/29): One of the men who fired shots at a passing car in Laurel County is now in custody.
The Laurel County Sheriff's Office said they arrested 39-year-old Kristin Baker on Monday on Locust Grove Road.
According to deputies, Baker was involved in a drive-by shooting that happened near a business off North Laurel Road on Oct. 13. They said he and another person were shooting at each other when a bullet struck a vehicle that was driving by.
Two people were in the vehicle when bullets were fired but none were reported injured.
Baker is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, discharge of firearm and first-degree criminal mischief, LCSO said.
He is currently held in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

Original (10/14): The Laurel County Sheriff's Department is searching for two men who were reportedly shooting each other in a business parking lot Sunday morning.
Deputies said the shooting happened around 10:36 a.m. They learned that the two men, reportedly cousins, encountered each other in the parking lot off U.S. 25 approximately 1 mile north of London.
One of the men allegedly fired two shots at the other, missing him. Those bullets went through a car window that was parked in the lot. LCSD also said one of those rounds hit a Jeep traveling on U.S. 25 in the driver-side rear door.
No injuries were reported.
The two men fled the scene before deputies arrived.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
