KPD searching for 15-year-old suspect accused of Kwik Pantry shooting

Police said Kendall Ridgeway has multiple juvenile petitions in connection to the shooting, including attempted first-degree murder.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department is searching for a teen who was involved in a shooting that took place at the Kwik Pantry on Sept. 13.

KPD said 15-year-old Kendall Ridgeway has multiple juvenile petitions in connection to the shooting, including attempted first-degree murder.

According to police, one person was wounded in the shooting. They said the victim was found at the scene with non-life-threatening injuries in the leg.

Police said they believe there was a conflict inside the store involving the victim and two men when one shot at the victim multiple times. Police said the suspects left before officers arrived on the scene.
