KPD: Man taken into custody after intentionally running over a woman

According to Knoxville Police, Steffon Green ran over the woman after a "domestic dispute."

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department detectives said they were working to find a wanted man who intentionally ran over a woman following a domestic dispute on Thursday. Later the same day, the police department said he was taken into custody after he was found at the Big Oak Apartments complex.

Steffon Green, 25, was wanted on multiple charges, including attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated kidnapping, DUI and felony vandalism, according to officials. 

KPD said Green ran over a woman and crashed into the front porch of a home on Maryville Pike early Thursday morning. They said the 43-year-old victim suffered serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
