KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — UPDATE (8/27, 8:12 a.m.): We now know the full name of the man taken into custody after a domestic-related incident.
Omar Armengol Cortes, a 20-year-old, has been charged with especially aggravated kidnapping after being interviewed by Knoxville Police Department Special Crime Unit Detectives, according to KPD.
The victim in Monday's incident reports that Cortes shoved her out of her car and drove away with her four-year-old daughter after a violent argument, KPD said.
PREVIOUS (8/26, 11:57 a.m.): The Knoxville Police Department has taken Omar into custody.

The Knoxville Police Department is searching for a man in the 600 Buckeye Drive area Monday morning. They identified him as Omar. His last name is unknown at this time.
KPD said Omar was involved in a domestic incident before leaving the scene in the victim’s car with the victim’s child inside.
According to police, the child was found safe and the car was recovered but Omar's whereabouts are unknown. They said Omar is possibly armed with a firearm.
He is approximately 5 foot, 6 inches and was wearing a maroon shirt with a multi-colored hat.
