KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department is not giving up on finding out what happened to Jeremiah Coleman in October 2020.
On Oct. 26, KPD responded to the Days Inn at 5423 Asheville Highway on the report of a deceased male. After arriving at the scene, they found Coleman dead inside a motel room from a gunshot wound.
KPD believes that multiple people were involved in his death. They also said evidence suggests that the shooting was targeted.
Detectives are continuing to pursue active leads and have identified possible persons of interest, according to KPD.
