Knox County Vice Unit arrests nine in prostitution sting

The Knox County  Sheriff's Office Vice Unit arrested nine people following a prostitution sting.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office Vice Unit arrested nine people following a prostitution sting.

KCSO arrested seven men and two women during an undercover operation at a West Knoxville hotel Thursday on various charges, including prostitution, patronizing prostitution and resisting arrest.

48-year-old Richard Gilberto O’Neil of Knoxville was arrested and charged with patronizing prostitution and resisting arrest.

55-year-old James Joseph Seidler of Clark Range, Tennessee was arrested and charged with patronizing prostitution.

41-year-old James Roy Brown of Greenback, Tennessee was arrested and charged with patronizing prostitution.

25-year-old Omar Garcia Rodriguez of Loudon, Tennessee was arrested and charged with patronizing prostitution.

41-year-old Michael Shane Grace of Oliver Springs, Tennessee was arrested and charged with patronizing prostitution.

43-year-old Alberto Parra of Knoxville was arrested and charged with patronizing prostitution.

45-year-old Jose Armando Aron-Matute of Knoxville was arrested and charged with patronizing prostitution.

19-year-old Katelen Elisabeth Shepherd of Louisville, Tennessee was arrested and charged with prostitution.

25-year-old Monica Upton of Knoxville was arrested and charged with driving without a license. KCSO said she has a criminal history in Knox County that includes prostitution, impersonation of a licensed professional, theft and burglary
