KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department said officers arrested a 39-year-old man who allegedly shot at multiple people outside of an apartment complex.

Jacob Brown reportedly fired a round in the direction of three people after an argument at the Ridgebrook Apartment Complex on Monday night, according to KPD.

Officers saw Brown after arriving on the scene, but he refused to stop for them and walked into an apartment, KPD said.

The apartment was cleared and officers discovered that Brown jumped out of a second-floor window, according to KPD.

Officers found Brown shortly after behind a building in the apartment complex and recovered the gun he used, KPD said.
