CHURCH HILL, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said a Kingsport man was indicted on second-degree murder and selling fentanyl after James "Jimmy" Taylor Burham, III, was found dead inside his Church Hill home in March 2022.
The TBI said after Barham, III was found dead, investigators learned he died due to toxic effects from fentanyl, alprazolam and ethanol. It also said investigators determined William Howard White, 34, was involved in distributing the fentanyl.
A Hawkins County grand jury returned indictments against White on June 3. On June 10, he was arrested and booked into the Hawkins County Jail on a $150,000 bond, according to the TBI.
