JCSO: 2 juveniles arrested, facing multiple charges after weekend crime spree leaves 1 person stabbed

The juveniles were charged with aggravated assault, carjacking and aggravated robbery, vandalism over $1,000, burglary and more, according to deputies.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Tennessee — Two juveniles were arrested after a weekend crime spree left one person stabbed, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

JCSO said the spree started Saturday when the suspects burglarized Ebenezer Methodist Church in Talbott.

On Sunday, Jefferson County deputies responded to the same area of the church on Valley Home Road on a report of a carjacking. When they arrived they found a victim suffering from stab wounds, deputies said.

The victim was then transported to the University of Tennessee Emergency Room in stable condition.

JCSO was still in the area when they saw a vehicle leaving the driveway of a nearby resident. Deputies and officers with the White Pine Police Department eventually stopped the car on Roy Messer Highway where authorities saw that one of the juveniles had overdosed.

He was transported by Jefferson County Emergency Medical Services where he was treated and released, JCSO said.

The juveniles were charged with aggravated assault, carjacking and aggravated robbery, vandalism over $1,000, burglary, theft over $1,000, simple possession of schedule II and drug paraphernalia, according to JCSO.

Both juveniles are being held in Knox County at the Richard Bean Juvenile Detention Facility.
