HCSO: 3 arrested after Harlan Co. authorities find hundreds of grams of fentanyl and meth

The Harlan County Sheriff's Office said authorities found more than 470 grams of fentanyl and 650 grams of methamphetamine on Tuesday.

HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. — The Harlan County Sheriff's Office said three people were arrested after authorities found hundreds of grams of fentanyl and methamphetamine on Oct. 10.

HCSO said they executed two search warrants and ended up finding more than 470 grams of fentanyl and more than 650 grams of methamphetamine. They said Leslie Brock and Therisha Westfelt, both from Lynch, Kentucky, were arrested. Aaron Robinson of Cumberland was also arrested, HCSO said.

The search warrants came after an investigation into drug trafficking in the area, with help from the Appalachia Narcotics Investigations group and the Drug Enforcement Agency. Kentucky State Police Post 10, the Cumberland Police Department and the Lynch Police Department all helped with the investigation.

All three people face drug trafficking charges, HCSO said.
