HCSO: Around $7,000 in stolen TVA tools found with help from Grainger Co. deputies

HANCOCK COUNTY, Tenn. — The Hancock County Sheriff's Office said around $7,000 worth of stolen tools belonging to the Tennessee Valley Authority were found on Dec. 5.

It said HCSO joined with the Grainger County Sheriff's Office to find the tools. According to a release, the tools were stolen from some property also belonging to the TVA in Hancock County. HCSO also said deputies are investigating the theft and said it expects to charge multiple people.

"The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office would like to express their appreciation to the Grainger County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this recovery," a release said.
