GCSD: Four people arrested for attempted first-degree murder after woman shot during Greene County burglary

The shooting and burglary happened on Oct. 11 at a home in the 7000 block of Old Stage Road, according to the Greene County Sheriff's Department.

GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. — The Greene County Sheriff's Department said it's arrested four people after a 24-year-old woman was shot twice during a burglary. 

The shooting and burglary happened on Oct. 11 at a home in the 7000 block of Old Stage Road. The victim was flown to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment, GCSD said. 

Twenty-nine-year-old Trevonde "TJ" Conner, 39-year-old William Justin Smith, 23-year-old Mikaila Chapman-Delotto and 20-year-old Stephen "Chastin" Turner are all charged with attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, especially aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and theft, according to the GCSD. 

Chapman-Delotto and Turner were arrested earlier in October while Conner remained at large. The GCSD announced on Wednesday, Oct. 31 that Conner was arrested in Detroit and that Smith was also involved in the crime, according to the department. 

Smith is being held in the Greene County Detention Center with a $255,000 bond. His court date is set for Nov. 13, GCSD said. 

Conner is awaiting extradition back to Greene County, according to GCSD.

Champan-Delotto and Turner's arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 18, GCSD said.
