LOUDON, Tenn. — Authorities in Loudon County used a "phone ping and Flock camera" to find a suspect who was wanted in a Georgia homicide case on Tuesday.
According to a release from the Loudon County Sheriff's Office, Brandon Howard, 37, was taken into custody in the early morning hours of Tuesday morning. Through the phone ping and cameras, authorities said he was located in the 300 block of Get Good Hollow Road in Loudon.
Deputies said they chased Howard for a brief time before SWAT and Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers took him into custody. LCSO said authorities were told Howard was a homicide suspect who had warrants out of the Dallas, Georgia, area.
Dallas is located on the outskirts of Atlanta.
LCSO said Howard is being held at the Loudon County Detention Center before being extradited back to Georgia.
