MORRISON, Tenn. — The Morristown Police Department said a 24-year-old is facing several drug charges connected to a "string of overdose deaths" in January.
A release from the police department said the deaths were reported across Hamblen County. It also said Ashlyn Jade Henry was arrested Monday morning on several drug charges related to them.
Those charges include conspiracy to distribute cocaine and fentanyl, distribution of fentanyl resulting in death and distribution of fentanyl resulting in serious bodily injury. The release said the White Pine Police Department helped in arresting her on Monday after several law enforcement agencies spent months investigating the overdose deaths.
