KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday its agents were working with law enforcement partners for a "court-authorized law enforcement" activity at a West Knoxville pharmacy.
Rocky Hill Pharmacy is located on S. Northshore Drive in the Rocky Hill area. WBIR received a video of several law enforcement agents at the pharmacy on Tuesday, including people wearing FBI vests.
The full statement from the FBI is available below.
"The FBI along with our law enforcement partners are conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity. Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, I cannot provide any additional details at this time."
The Drug Enforcement Administration said it was not involved in the activity. WBIR 10News tried contacting the owners and went to the pharmacy on Wednesday. Employees there said the store was open for business again.
Additional information, such as the circumstances surrounding the law enforcement activity and whether any charges were filed in the case, was not immediately available. This story will be updated when more information is available.
