A grand jury indicted a former Campbell County High School substitute teacher on 10 counts of statutory rape.
Karlie Brooke Taylor, 21, of Caryville is charged with five counts of mitigated statutory rape and five counts of statutory rape by an authority figure.
The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office said they believe Taylor engaged in sexual acts between Feb. 1 and March 31.
Campbell County Criminal Court documents state the victims were between ages 13-18.
The documents state Taylor, “used the position of trust or power to accomplish the sexual penetration.”
Taylor paid her $5,000 bond, according to the documents.
