CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Prosecutors said Friday that an Ooltewah man was sentenced to 32 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to asking women across the U.S. to "molest their children and then send him images of the abuse."

In a release, the Department of Justice said Dewayne Douglas Price, Jr., 42, will need to be on supervised release for the rest of his life after he is released from prison. The department said he pleaded guilty to two counts of exploiting a minor, a count of receiving child pornography and a count of having child pornography.

It said he confessed to law enforcement about asking women for child sexual abuse material, and some of the women he reached out to have also been charged by federal or state authorities.

“As the court records show, Price’s conduct was depraved and outrageous,” said United States Attorney Francis M. Hamilton III. “Our office is committed to pursuing, uncovering, and prosecuting to the full extent of the law the criminals who sexually victimize children.”
