Dandridge police searching for man after domestic assault case on Wednesday

The police department said Jimmy Mitchell Greene ran away before officers arrived, and police couldn't find him.

DANDRIDGE, Tenn. — The Dandridge Police Department said Wednesday it was searching for a man involved in an aggravated domestic assault case that happened at around 3 p.m. that day.

The police department said Jimmy Mitchell Greene, 52, ran away before officers arrived at the scene. Officers tried using K-9 units and drones to find him, but they said he was not found. The police department also warned that he is considered armed and dangerous, and said anyone who sees him should not approach him.

Instead, they should call 911 and tell dispatchers his location.
