KCSO investigating after father finds bullet hole in child's bedroom at Falcon Pointe

KCSO said its major crimes unit is actively investigating. The parent told deputies he was unsure when or how it happened.

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — A Knox County father called deputies after finding a bullet hole in his son's bedroom. Now the Knox County Sheriff's Office is trying to figure out how and when it got there.

According to KCSO, deputies received a call around 8 p.m. Monday from the Falcone Pointe subdivision off South Northshore Drive near the Knox-Loudon county line. The man told deputies he found a bullet hole in the bedroom, but was unsure when it happened.

The man's wife told deputies she remembered hearing something earlier in the day around 7:30 a.m. 

KCSO said its Major Crimes Unit is investigating the incident.
