KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — UPDATE (Dec. 4): The Knoxville Police Department said the suspect who shot and killed a 35-year-old has turned himself in.
Jesse Bailey Jr. was wanted for first-degree murder and two other counts of attempted first-degree murder, according to KPD.
Bailey turned himself in at KPD's Public Safety Complex on Monday, Dec. 4, KPD said.

PREVIOUS (Dec. 4): The Knoxville Police Department released new information after a fatal shooting that happened Sunday morning and said it is still searching for the man suspected in that shooting.
KPD said officers responded to the Arbor Place Apartments in the 700 block of Lula Powell Drive around 10:45 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report about a shooting near downtown Knoxville.
After officers arrived on the scene, they found a man inside an apartment in the complex who had been shot at least one time. The victim, identified as 35-year-old Howard Jordan, was pronounced dead at the scene, KPD said.
The suspect reportedly left the scene before officers arrived.
On Monday, KPD said it obtained warrants to arrest Jesse Bailey Jr., 28, of Knoxville for first-degree murder and two other counts of attempted first-degree murder. Police said Bailey shot Jordan and allegedly shot at two other people inside the apartment.
Police are still searching for Bailey and said he should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information should contact the East Tennessee Valley Crimestoppers at (865) 215-7165. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
