PERRYVILLE, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol canceled an Amber Alert out of Perryville, Missouri, after a 3-year-old boy was found safe.
The Amber Alert said the boy was taken by a man last month. The Amber Alert was issued Wednesday after the boy's mother said she received a call from the man in which he "made credible threats" toward the boy.
The Amber Alert said the pair might have been in Tennessee and were possibly traveling to Alabama. In a 4:18 p.m. update, authorities said the boy was found safe.
Police did not immediately say where the boy was found but said that no suspects were at large.
The Amber Alert did not say how the suspect and the boy are related.
