$500K bond set for woman accused of fatally shooting man in face, court records show

Authorities said Alexandria Pastor-Light, 29, admitted to shooting John Nicholas Belcastro Jr. in the face after making him take his clothes off in a bedroom.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knox County authorities said a woman was accused of fatally shooting a man in the head in an apartment on Sunday and faces a first-degree murder charge.

Alexandria Pastor-Light, a 29-year-old, admitted shooting John Nicholas Belcastro Jr., according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office. A police report said she made him take off his clothes in the bedroom before shooting him.

In the police report, KCSO said deputies responded to an apartment complex on Oak Valley Drive around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 1. The report said authorities found Belcastro Jr. with a gunshot wound and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Pastor-Light was taken into custody. Her bond is set to $500,000, according to court records.
