KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knox Pride announced the passing of its founding member, Todd Cramer, on Saturday.
"A life long advocate, our thoughts are with your family and friends," Knox Pride said in a social media post. "We continue to grow and honor the mission of Knox Pride everyday."
Founded as the East Tennessee Equality Council in 2006, the organization is a place for people to find a home base in the Knoxville LGBTQIA+ community.
A memorial service has not been announced at this time.
