KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The annual Pancake Fest and Senior Expo event returned to the O'Connor Senior Center Friday morning. The fundraiser was filled with breakfast, music, fellowship and more breakfast!
The Knox County Community Action Committee hosts the event every year. It's a nonprofit that takes on the responsibility of planning services for senior citizens, assessing senior's needs and developing resources to meet their needs.
Aside from the all-you-can-eat breakfast, some of WBIR's anchors took part in serving the seniors with a few "Straight from the Heart" pancakes.

Knoxville leaders and officials, like Mayor Indya Kincannon, took part in flipping a few pancakes as well.
The money raised from the event will support events and programs at the O'Connor Senior Center and the Daily Living Center, its adult day center.
