Nonprofit supporting mothers hosting competitive fundraiser ahead of UT game against Georgia

As part of the diaper drive, people can donate money on behalf of a specific team to try and raise more funds than the other team.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Fans in East Tennessee and Georgia have a chance to show off their community spirit through a fundraiser organized by a national nonprofit — Helping Mamas.

The nonprofit is hosting a fundraiser ahead of the Vols' game against Georgia in Neyland Stadium on Saturday. As part of the fundraiser, Georgia native and ESPN anchor Elle Duncan is facing off against Ryan McGee, a Senior Writer of Vol Nation, to see who can help raise the most money and donations.

The competition ends on Nov. 19, after the game.

"Show your team spirit and support families in need by donating to your favorite team's Helping Mamas Supply Bank," organizers said on social media.
