KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra has canceled its concerts through the end of the month: Beethoven and Sibelius, Southwest Virginia Community College Festival of the Arts, The Q Series at The Elks Lodge and Blackberry Winter Appalachian Dulcimer Concerto.
The mission of the KSO is to develop and sustain a symphony orchestra of the highest artistic standards. The non-profit strives to reach East Tennessee audiences of all ages by providing excellence in musical performance and education programs.
Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra teaches students in a professional environment. it is made up of six ensembles and more than 300 student musicians.
