Claxton Elementary welcomes SRO's new partner: K-9 Max

ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — An Anderson County K-9 celebrated his first day of school this week at Claxton Elementary School.

Max, a 5-year-old lab, joined his new partner -- Officer Lay --- on Monday.

He's a happy lab that's eager to make new friends.

The school said he has already gotten to meet some of the kids and learn his ways around the school a little bit.
