30K+ ducks fill pond in 2015 Boys & Girls Club duck race

More than 30,000 yellow rubber ducks filled the World's Fair Park pond Saturday afternoon in a race for victory.

(WBIR - Knoxville) More than 30,000 yellow rubber ducks filled the World's Fair Park pond Saturday afternoon in a race for victory.

A dump truck dropped the ducks into the pond at 2:02 p.m. WBIR 10News anchor Russell Biven plucked out the winners.

This year's winners are:

Grand prize: $10,000 from Humana - Sherry Vermillion

First prize: $5,000 from ORNL Federal Credit Union - Velva Phillips

Second prize: $2,500 Pilot gas card - Leslie Barbour

Third prize: Cub Cadet mower from Home Depot - Drew McElyea

The event raises funds for the Boys and Girls Club of the Tennessee Valley, which serves Knox, Blount, Loudon and Anderson counties.
