A local developer paid $11 million for the east side of Windsor Square commercial center in West Knoxville, bringing the total sale of the overall strip center to more than $26 million.
Windsor Partners, LLC, formed by Ronald Watkins, purchased the 12.35 acre track, which sits just west of Home Depot, according to records filed Thursday with the Knox County Register of Deeds. The partnership bought it from Educational Services of America, Inc., a non-profit group.
On Sept. 18, Southern Management and Development sold the 22.27 acre west side of the center for $15.25 million.

The 299,000-square-foot development on Kingston Pike in the Cedar Bluff area is anchored by Burlington Coat Factory, Big Lots and a movie theater complex.
Southern Management and Development sold the property Sept. 18.
GDA Real Estate Services of Greenwood Village, Colo., acquired it to hold it, according to Kyle Stonis, who brokered the deal for Southern Management.
"Right now it has stable, solid tenants in the location," Stonis said.
GDA identifies itself as having been in the commercial real estate business since 1993, buying and selling dozens of shopping centers. Current holdings are in some 14 states in the West, Midwest and New England.
