Sevierville can now claim the largest gun store and shooting range in Tennessee
The Buds Gun Store and Range held its grand opening on Friday. The store features a 20,000 square-foot retail store and 23,000 square-foot shooting range with 25 lanes. Visitors can fire rifles and handguns on the range seven days a week.
Joe Murphy, co-owner of Buds Gun Store, said they're still trying to fit everything in the store.
"We have probably about 800 handguns out, and we have over a thousand long guns," said Murphy. "Actually right now, we don't have enough room to put all our product out. We have more displays coming in. So probably in the next three to four weeks, we'll have more inventory out on the floor."
Buds Gun store is already one of the largest Internet retailers for guns, but this is the company's first franchise location.
