HOUSTON — Fuddruckers is not closing all of its restaurants in 2024 despite social media videos making that claim.
Fuddruckers CEO Nicholas M. Perkins said earlier this month that the burger chain is not closing its restaurants.
Founded in 1980, Fuddruckers has more than 55 restaurants in 20 states. Mexico and Canada also each have a Fuddruckers restaurant.
"Our brand has been made aware of the misinformation stated by a non-credible blog. Our brand will not be closing all stores in 2024," said Fuddruckers CEO Nicholas M. Perkins. "Our dynamic group of franchisees continue to operate restaurants both nationally and internationally everyday. This year, we will be welcoming new franchisees into our system.
"We look forward to continuing our legacy as the world's greatest hamburger. Bigger. Bolder. Beefier than ever!"
The burger chain closed its Colorado restaurants in 2010 due to the bankruptcy filing of its parent company. The company said franchised restaurants were not affected by the bankruptcy.
